Saw a shrimp and tofu dish and a chicken dish I wanted to try from here, but when I ordered it, it was different. See the pics. The service was great and attentive. I wanted to show her the pics I saw online before to make sure I was getting what I wanted, but she had named the right dishes before I could pull out the pic I saved so I trusted she knew. Was slightly disappointed. Food was great, but I wish what I ordered looked like the pics I had. Not sure this place is of Michelin star quality, I will probably give it another try another day.

Ate at Jiang Nan Spring yesterday to celebrate a friend's birthday, and we were extremely impressed by this restaurant! We came in with a large party, and we were seated right away. Service was fast, and all serving staff were incredibly kind. We ordered a large array of food to share family style - too many dishes for me to remember off the top of my head! Our favorites included: sautéed green beans with pork (by far my favorite -- SO good!), orange chicken (perfect crunch and vibrant flavor), pickled mustard greens (delicious flavor and super refreshing), and the Sichuan eggplant (perfect texture and flavor). The price seemed extremely fair given the quality and quantity of food. Absolutely delicious, and a great experience overall! We will return!!!

Excellent food, service and ambiance The dishes we ordered did not disappoint, though the beef dish was on the light side, it hardly fully filled the plate. The manager and servers were all very friendly and helpful. Most restaurants include steamed Rice with each dish, but they have a $2 charge for a small bowl of rice, not even the larger bowl. They can do better especially being Zagat rated. They do maintain the restaurant to a high standard. I look forward to dining there every time!

They no longer serve duck blood which is a bummer. But still, their menu items are great. Service is also attentive. The 松鼠魚 was a bit fishy. Not sure if they still have 乞衣雞。may need to ask for it. Smoked duck really flavorful. Huge amounts of smoky flavor. I really do miss 五更腸旺. Home they bring it back.

I was in town, was craving Chinese food, found this place on yelp. I ordered Orange chicken and beef roll, at the time, I was going to take a picture, but my phone died. I brought the leftover to home- the picture. The food was good and satisfying. Orange chicken tasted good, beef roll was on the dry side, but the portion was good. The restaurant is clean and nice. The service was just okay, I had to call servers to get their attention. I would try their other dishes next time.

Fantastic Shanghainese food that got a Bib Gourmand in 2021. We came back for dinner and were excited to get Shanghainese food in SGV. It was just the 2 of us so we were hesitant to order too much food much ending up getting the dungeness crab with rice cake, seaweed fried fish, loofa with dried shrimp, and pork and bamboo soup. First, the portions were huge! Definitely made for 4+ people, every dish was bigger than we expected and we had plenty to take home. Every dish was yummy and I loved how flavorful everything was. The crab was really fresh and I loved the sauce with the rice cake, making it a full meal in of itself. The loofa had a ton of flavor from the small dried shrimp and the seaweed fish was great as well dipped in white pepper for more flavor.

I would say this place is my 2nd Michelin star Chinese restaurant I've experienced thus far, and really enjoyed. Their dishes range from poultry to vegetarian as well as fish. Delicious and not overly salty. Great service! Modern lighting and tables. The second time I'm here, this business offered Yelpers a one time 25% off coupon. When I showed this to them the servers didn't recognize it. They tried contacting the owner but we couldn't wait long enough for him/her to respond. Pretty disappointed they didn't honor the coupon. Yelp coupons are just temporary promotions from the business itself. Perhaps someone can verify?
